I have an old saw that I've wanted to restore. Most of the parts are rusted solid. I was looking at different methods to approach this project. Sand blasting would work, but would be messy, so I tried this rust remover. The directions are pretty straightforward. Follow them, I lightly brushed and heavy dirt and debris off the surface, I then wiped any loose debris off. I soaked the parts for 48 hours. After pulling the part I was amazed at how well the product worked. Plus as a bonus you can reuse the solution.
Rust Remover Soak – GallonWorks like a charm! I wanted to get some rust spots removed from a barbell. I sprayed it on, left it for about 15min (per the instructions), rinsed with water and the rust spots disappeared. Although the product is clearly a strong chemical, I appreciated that I did not smell any strong odor from the spray. Will definitely use this product to get rid of any rust in the future!
